We are pleased to officially announce that the ALS Center Ulm is one of the 20 winning teams of the Discovery Award in the Longitude Prize on ALS.
The Longitude Prize on ALS is a £7.5 million international funding program that drives the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in drug development for ALS. The goal is to identify new therapeutic approaches, generate the world’s largest ALS dataset, and strengthen international collaboration in research. The prize is funded by the MND Association and other partner organizations.
Following a global call for submissions, our team was selected from nearly 100 entries and will receive seed funding.
In the coming months, our team—which includes the U.S. AI companies LaJolla Labs and Unravel Biosciences—will use this extensive data with the help of state-of-the-art AI to identify and validate drug targets.
We will keep you updated on our progress.
